OUR 2024 RESEARCH WITH CHASM

We commissioned two research reports from the University of Birmingham’s CHASM to highlight the harms financial exclusion continues to cause in communities across the UK.

The research draws on evidence published between January 2022 and March 2024 (covering Covid-19 and the cost-of-living crisis), as well as nine qualitative group discussions in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales in April 2024, including four sessions with people with direct, lived experience of financial exclusion.

OUR 2017 REPORT

This report further efforts to increase understanding of the role household insurance can play in reducing financial exclusion in the UK.

OUR 2015 REPORT

This report brings together the evidence collected by the Commission from around the country, taken to assess the state of financial exclusion in the United Kingdom and recommendations on how the Government can work to improve the financial health of the nation.
